He has a point...but, of course, ALL weapons are offensive. But all weapons, including guns, can be used in DEFENSE of oneself. This guy is an idiot.

He said "Police officers do NOT carry a gun as a defensive weapon." He goes on to say "They carry a gun to do their job in a safe and effective manner." A safe and effective manner would not be offensive, it would be defensive. I thought police officers were supposed to keep the peace and use violence as a last resort. Now I can see why Dorner couldn't get anywhere with his complaints. These guys do not appear to be rational. They have a kick ass now and take names later approach.

He looks like he doesn't even believe himself,& the people standing around him look as though they don't believe him either. The degree of corruption is breathtaking.
